Join the Broadwater Conservation District and Lewis & Clark Conservation District for a full-day seminar and tour highlighting Soil Health and Cover Cropping! Beginning at 8:30 with registration, the morning will be largely informational with a fantastic speaker from NRCS in North Dakota, and a presentation on some cover crops done in Lewis & Clark County by local producer, Tim Dusenberry. After a pulled pork sandwich lunch, we’ll board the bus with tour stops at Bruce Seed Farm, a stop and a Townsend area cover crop and back to the Staubach to look at their operation.

The Conservation District is hosting the 9th annual Flood Awareness Day in East Helena for the 6th grade students. 8 Stations ranging from watershed discussions, to weeds, and sandbagging will be in review for all the students. Agencies from around the area participate in presenting information to the students.

Well Maintenance | Wells are susceptible to all kinds of things that can weaken or contaminate your water. Learn what signs to look for, how to prevent, and what steps need to be taken. | |
