A few years ago, Lewis & Clark Conservation District sponsored a grant for a local farmer and rancher, Tim Dusenberry of the XX Bar Farm & Ranch. The grant was for a pilot project to look at doing cover cropping for soil health improvement.
Tim has expanded on that operation and recently was interviewed on the Montana Public Radio Home Ground with Brian Kahn. Tim talks about how he got interested in working on improving soil health and other innovations that he’s made with mob grazing and other techniques.
